How many images can be used

I am trying to use the DVD PixPlay and I am getting a not responding error. I am trying to load 877 images. Is this too many? I really need some help on this. Can anyone help?

DVD PixPlay creates a movie from your images, so there is not a specific limit on the number of images that can be added, only on the length (in time) of the slideshow. If you use the default VCD format option then each CD can contain around 60 minutes of slideshow, so if you set each image to be displayed for 10 seconds then that would equate to 360 pictures per CD.
If you choose the MPEG or DVD Format option you can also write directly to DVD disks, which will allow you to create a slideshow that is six times longer than this.

If you choose the Images Format option your slideshow is output in its native format (i.e. images and videos) and the number you can put on a single disk (either CD or DVD) will depend on their original size. You can automatically resize large images when exporting by clicking the "Other" button on Step 3 of the Burn Disk Wizard and choose the relevant option.
