Hi Ya from Turkey
There are lots of Old Roman ruins around me. So have started in earnest using DVDPixplay but am a little disappointed with the Image Motion thingy I have added to the pics. On preview they are a little more than jerky, is this normal? And if so will it be sorted when I burn? Haven't gone the whole hog yet as didn't want to waste my disks.

Under step 2 of the Burn Disc Wizard select the Test button on the lower left side and it will show you how the slideshow will appear in the final presentation without wasting any disks.

Thank you Jim for your swift reply.
Have tried what you said and got a error reading video file on the test run.
So not to be out done I burned to disk and played it back. Only a small selection of pics. And I regret to say I found that the Image motion was as bad as the Preview mode. Pretty ratchetty or jerky not a smooth zoom in and out.Tried to lenghten the time no better and shortened the dislplay time to no avail any thought please...

If they are jerky when you play them in your DVD player (i.e. WINDOWS MEDIA player on your computer), try specifying the highest quality encoding option (using the Alternate encoder) on Step 3 of the "Burn Disk" wizard.

Also, ensure that the display time for each image is not too short (should be about 5 seconds), and preferably use of the "pre-built" pan zoom effects, rather than specifying your own [start and stop positions for the effect].

Hi Ian

If you have short display times and the image is being moved too far/too fast (or in multiple directions) then it may be jerky.

Try going into View>Options, Other, Advanced and reduce the "Maximum zoom level for motion effects" to 10%

Then go into Edit>Slideshow Properties, Image Motion, and eliminate any motion effects that seem to jerky.
