I don't know if that's the term - you know on digital tv you occasionally get a glitch when you see a blocky effect on the screen - well I always seem to get a bit of that in my DVDs.
First I have to say the dvd runs perfectly on my computer, but when I use my dvd recorder + TV I get splashes of green blocks, mainly on light coloured title pages. I thought I had cured it by making all my titles black, but now the titles are all fine but I get the green splash on my first photo, but not again.
I've used Verbatim and Philips DVD-Rs
Any ideas anyone?

Hi Mike

Have you tried specifying the highest quality encoding option (using the Alternate encoder) on Step 3 of the "Burn Disk" wizard?

Also, try going into View>Options, Advanced and changing the DVD MPEG Audio Setting as that can affect playback on some players.

Finally try different disk types (e.g. DVD+R instead of DVD-R)

I tried the alternate decoding and I'm pleased to report that it worked.
Thank you
Mike
