I would like a spell check on forum post pleese and the transitions that I have picked and ticked as default in the top window of PixPlay to show down in the bottom window instead of having to scroll through all 100 or so in the bottom to choose one of the default ones that I already chosen up above for a custom allocation to a particular slide [If you ever get near enough with slideshow projects to do it,do it because you might never get near enough to it to do it again! Hi Morry
Can you email me a screenshot to show me what you mean about the default transitions.
(To create a screenshot display the program with the problem visible then select PrintScreen (or PrtScr) on the top of your keyboard. Using Microsoft Word or an image editor such as Paint, select Paste. Save the file, if possible as a JPEG if you are using an image editor and send it to us)

Hi Nigel many thanks, what I meant was that I would wish the transitions I choose to use in slideshow properties as my personal default setting for all my PixPlay projects and it would be nice for the list of transitions in the main slideshow properties window to mirror these chosen transitions thus saving me the bother of scrolling through heaps of transitions to get to choose one specific from the 25 that I use in my projects! As I custom select all my project slide transitions this gets to be tedious! |

Hi Morry
On the first point, you can use the "Set as Default" button and your transition selection will be applied to new projects.
We will consider some way to limit the display of unused transitions in a future update.

Many thanks Nigel, regarding ones chosen transitions does that " Set as Default" require cookies to be on to function correctly while one is using PixPlay.? |

Hi Nigel, I think I have found out why I wasen't getting my chosen transitions as default in new PlxPlay projects. Rather than clicking on the new project tab before adding images, I have just been adding to the main screen without choosing new project first, and found that I was back to 160 transitions rather than the 25 or so I had chosen as default before. Could this action have any bearing on the programme running smoothly. |

OK. It is best to use the New Project option
Using this option or not would have no effect on the general stability of the application.

Hello all. Here's my wishlist: 1 and Most Important please please - any chance of the next release?!) Ability to insert videos with sound in the middle of still images. Digital cameras today can take movie clips easily, so people are typically going to take lots of photos and several movie clips . Those movie clips need to be in the right place in the slideshow, for continuity purposes and to add interest. If you show all your movie clips first, the stills that follow are going to be a bit of a let down. I would be happy to forego the music track if I could only have movie clips with their own sound at the right time. Ideally of course the music track would fade when it meets a movie clip and maybe start again after? (Currently I'm having a go at doing all this using Audacity to make a full soundtrack.) 2) As Morry says, it would be handy if the chosen transitions could be mirrored by the pop-up list of transitions. I've done the 'set as default' and my chosen 63 transitions are certainly there on new projects but the transition popup box for the current frame in the right hand corner still has the full set. (This might all apply to the Image Motion list too, I don't know) 3) Would it be possible to incorporate a Pause button in the Burning Disk dialogue box?
I really can't think of anything else at the moment - it's a brilliant piece of software - I've been trying out lots of your rivals and you come out on top. Thank you for *not* indexing all my photos during installation - thank you for allowing a usable 50 pics during evaluation (may be a bit risky for you, but I've certainly paid up!) Mike |

Hi Mike
Thanks for your comments . Please see my responses below...
1. We are very keen to implement it, but unfortunately it is a huge amount of work because the of the way the sound track would need to be handled separately from the visuals
2. OK, we'll look at adding that before too long
3. Hmmm, we'll investigate that one.

This is for Mike
I agree with you I opened a topic about videos in pixplay You can see what I said I use "audacity" too to make a sound track taking the sound of videos Of course, the synchronisation is not perfect (1/2 second between the sound and the video but its not so bad)

Michel Yes, fortunately my current slideshow videos don't need accurate synchronisation, half a second out is OK, but if it was a band playing music or people talking it would be critical Mike |
