Hi,

The maillist king has been backing up on LocalUser/Temp each day and it is taking a lot of space (more than 1.2 GB), I would like to know if its safe to delete some of the temp files like say ones created a month ago.

Awaiting an early reply.

Hi Eric

Have you closed MLK? MLK should automatically clean up any temp files that are created? What are the names of the files?

If MLK is closed you can delete any of its files from the temp folder.

For the record, i frequently delete all the files in the temp folder after restarting Windows (anything older than a day or two). As some programs regularly leave files there and don't bother cleaning up after themselves.

Nigel,

Thanks for your reply. The directories in the Temp folder are named in the format MK07---- (date) eg. MK070127, there are over 100 of them, can I delete it except for the recent ones?

Hi

OK, so you are using the automatic backup option (under View>Options, Other). You can delete any of these files.

Just keep some recent ones, in case of meltdown.
