Assuming that they were playing back the DVD format, then you will definitely have lost some quality. DVD's are only 720x480, which is 1/3 megapixel, whereas your images might be 10+ megapixels.
If your TV stick supports it, then output as a full HD, 1920 x 1080, MP4 file.

Posted - Oct 18 2018 : 20:11:49 Thanks Nigel, I have just tried the slideshow option and ordinary dvd/pc but didn't select Mp4. They are running off a stick through a TV but the quality has gone. High res photos all broken up. I have build 7.4 Would it be because I need an upgrade?? |

Posted - Oct 18 2018 : 15:54:40 Yes, click the "Burn Disk" button on the toolbar and choose "Other Video File" as your slideshow format.
Then choose a custom format and select MPEG-4:
