Turned off all add-ins and Text lightning is the culprit. Outlook 2016 hangs at the opening screen, says processing on the bottom, for a very long time sometimes as long as 10 minutes.
I love Text lightning and really hope there is a fix.

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew

I'm not aware of any freezing issues with Text Lightning, so I don't have many suggestions for you.

I would try:
- Making a copy of your TXL settings (see the location listed under the Advanced tab of options)
- Remove all the TXL settings

Restart Outlook. Does it start normally? If so, there is something wrong with your database.

If still slow, uninstall Text Lightning completely.

Does it start normally? If so, I'm lost for words.
