It is not an issue just yet as Excel 2007 still allows you to save as xls (of course csv and txt as well). Any plans to include xlsx as a compatible import file. If too hard I understand - I believe it is a whole new file structure.

Yes, XLSX is supported in v8.11 (ready very shortly).
