Are they URL encoded like they would be with encodeURIComponent() from JavaScript for instance ?

Thanks.

Design for the preview pane of email applications. That means you've got about 500, 600 pixels tops for your email designs. If you think recipients will actually double click an email to view your message in full screen "to appreciate all its glory," send us whatever you're smokin.

Hi Julien

In v8.11 (ready next week, I expect) you can direct MLK to URL Encode personalized fields by using the .ENC suffix.

For instance, to ensure the Full Name field (%FullName%) is URL safe you can specify it as %FullName.ENC%

Example of a personalized link:

http://www.mycompany.com/cgibin/click.php?Email=%Email.ENC%&Name=%FullName.ENC%

Would that be possible in a next release ?

I have PHP scripts that are executed from links in newsletters. Those links have parameters, e.g. email@example.com" target="_blank">http://example.com/info.php?ref=email@example.com

I cannot include %FullName% because spaces and some other special characters must be URL encoded.

What do you think ?

No, they aren't URL encoded.
