[ ] Embedded IPTC (Photoshop) keywords and descriptions
I'm having trouble with the wording. How do you "add" something that is embedded? Is it supposed to just read > Automatically add the following keywords to files:
[ ] IPTC (Photoshop) keywords and descriptions
or something like this (if you need the word "embed" in there)
[ ] Embed IPTC (Photoshop) keywords and descriptions
...or does it add what is already embedded, if so, to a file's filename? |

Posted - Nov 04 2018 : 04:03:21 Yes. The 6th option sounds the worse, though. It sounds most like it would use 'new' keywords and 'modify' the files by adding them.
The problem is actually in the wording: "Automatically add the following keywords to files" It is the "...to files" that incorrectly refers to all the options.

Posted - Nov 03 2018 : 16:26:24 Hi
Yes, the wording there could be better. It refers to the automatic addition of keywords to the media library for files (so you can search for them). So if you are adding a file to your media library (database), and it contains Photoshop keywords, then those keywords are also added (to the library) so when you view the keywords list, they will be listed and you can search on them.
The file itself is not modified, it only relates to what information is given to the file listing in the media library (database).
