This post http://www.xequte.com/userforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4691 discusses text sharing, they usere were operating remotely of each other.

Is it possible to use the one database if in the same location with a fast shared drive? If so how do you configure Text Lightning to use a shared text repository?

Hi Stuart

It's not well advertised but TXL can share its database and settings on a local network as follows:

1. In TXL display the options, click Advanced, the the "View Files" button beside your settings folder

2. Move all the files and folders in that location to a new folder on a shared drive

3. Close Outlook

4. Search for REGEDIT under the start menu and run it

5. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xequte\Text Lightning

6. Double-click on the DatabasePath and specify the folder where you moved the files in step 2

7. Run Outlook and check TXL is working

Repeat Steps 3 - 7 for all your installations
