I've set up Outposted to check several sites. Even when I've adjusted the delivery settings to "When there are MANY changes in page", I receive a notification at the designated time for each site even when there are NO changes to the page.

Is this a conflict with the hosting server?

OK, can you please email me the web site URL in question and attach the HTML files you saved.

Thanks for the reply.

I did as you suggested and the HTML code is identical. I also used a comparision software, just to be sure.

Hi

OutPosted works by performing a fuzzy analysis of the web page. It considers not just the text but also the underlying HTML, becuase on some web pages (such as those that only display images or Flash content) the text might be identical even though the page has changed radically.

In the situation you describe (assuming it is not a bug) the HTML is likely to have changed and thus triggered the change report. You should confirm this by saving the intial web page, and then saving it again after the change report. Open both of them in Windows Notepad and compare.
