1°) wiki commons pictures

Hmmm, i can't really see how POTD could interfere with desktop icons (other than adding one for itself).

At any rate, you can remove the image by right-clicking on the desktop and choosing "Properties" Choose the desktop tab and select some new wallpaper.

I have downloaded and installed 'picture of the day'. I have found it interferes with the desktop icons, so I want to uninstall it and get the picture off the desktop, but it won't go away, even after uninstalling the software. How do I get rid of the picture?

Hi

Of those links; 1 & 2 have images that are too small to be useful and 3 appears to use a random number script, so is not supported.

4 should work.
