Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 I have downloaded the Amaze Screen Saver and loaded a playlist of pictures into it(quite a lot of pictures). After a few minutes the screen saver stucks and gives the message "Out of memory". The pc has 1GB of ram. To solve the problem do i need to make the playlist smaller? or cn i use a program that free up ram that is not inuse?
This is quite an incoveniance for me. |

v10 is the latest version. I am not aware of any memory issues in that version.
Can you advise what steps lead up to the error?

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 8000 images should not be a problem. Please email support@xequte.com and try the pre-release for the next update.

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 Im useing Windows XP Pro SP2. About 90% of the pictures that is loaded in to the playlist is jpg or jpeg and then there is a few bms's. By saying the playlist is large i mean + - 8000 pictures. |

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 The number of pictures is unlikely to be the problem, more likely Amaze might be leaking some memory if you are reading JPEGs with non-standard EXIF tags (we will have a fix shortly to address this).
What version of Windows are you using?
