Posted - Sep 21 2019 : 06:28:34 Hello,
Due to the nature of my work i need to use MailList King as a portable aplication. Is there a way that i can use it like that?
Also, i used Smart Serial Mail from Jam Software witch was discontinued, It had a "feature" that was very helpful when i needed to reinstall it, it allows to backup all configurations so i don't need to configure all over again every time i install it. The only thing i found in MailList King is the e-mail list backup.
I'm a newbie in MailList King and i'm still trying to understand how the aplication works. I have the bussiness version 18.02r Thanks |

Posted - Sep 22 2019 : 03:58:33 Hi
It can't be run purely as a portable app, but it is simple to transfer settings between systems. In fact some users use OneDrive to share a database and settings between systems (or you can use a thumb drive.
You just need to copy the following folder to the new system:
C:\Users\ <YOUR LOGIN NAME> \AppData\Local\Xequte\MailList King\
If the database is stored elsewhere you will need top copy that too (but it is usually also in the same folder).
