Hi Nigel

I see that you have no way to repopulate the send stats if they are not added the first time on the first computer
How can i process a rule that checks my totals against that which was not recorded due to a database move

Hi

To move your database and settings to a new computer:

1. Run MailList King on the old machine and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will display the two important folders for MailList King (configuration and database).

2. Install MailList King on your new computer, run it and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will show you where MailList King is saving your configuration and database on the new computer

3. Close MailList King

4. Copy all the files in your settings folder from Step 1 to the settings folder on the new computer from Step 2

5. Do the same for your database files

Is there a better way to move my data from one PC to another?

Hi

If you had an older version on your other computer that did not support sending statistics, then when the database is opened in a newer version of MLK those stats will not exist.

There is no way to populate the data within MLK. It can be done with a database editor, but that is not for the fainthearted.

You would need to download the Database Utility from:
http://www.xequte.com/download/dbsys426.exe
Open the file, mlk_stats.dat
Add entries for the dates that you want the sending statistics to appear (sending stats need to have the Group id of -99).
