Posted - Jun 22 2017 : 17:47:57 I click Files, Options. I go to "Email Processing" tab. In the "Web Form Messages" section, I click box to "Process web forms . . . " I click "Edit Format" the "Web Form Message Formatting" window pops up I am in the "Web Form Sub...." tab In the text window, how do I change "Submission from your web site" to something else? There is no "Edit..." button. I am using version 16.52R. I made the window as wide as I could but the text box shows that it is wider than the space allowed. If the edit button is to the right of the text box, that would be why it does not show. If the button was moved to under the text box, it may show. |

Posted - Jun 25 2017 : 20:42:50 Hi Cindy
Within a month we will have a new release. If you still have the editing problem in that version, please let me know.

Posted - Jun 25 2017 : 11:10:10 I tried resizing the window, but the text box would grow with the window. I could never get the "Edit" button to show.
You read my mind. I was going to ask what file has the variable and I would change it. That way I could get back in production while you investigate the problem.
At first I had problems with "mode tree". I did not know what it was. Figure it out that it is the left menu.
Pretty cool trick to display the MLK files. I am sure it comes in handy with trouble shooting problems. I knew where the MLK files were. However, I had to google it earlier when I was looking for the MLK files. This was before I contacted you. Windows 7 is so different from XP. I am googling a lot.
I got the "WebformSubjects.ddt" file change and I am back in production with reading web forms.
Thank you!

Posted - Jun 25 2017 : 01:53:23 Well that is peculiar, isn't it
Does resizing the form by dragging the bottom right corner make any difference?
As a work around you can:
1. Right click the mode tree in the main window
2. Click Advanced, then "Display MLK folders"
3. Check the settings folder and click OK
4. CLOSE MAILLIST KING
5. Right-click "WebFormSubjects.ddt" and choose "Open with"
6. Select Notepad and click OK
7. Edit the file and save it

Posted - Jun 24 2017 : 01:59:06 I am migrating to a new computer. On the old computer (XP), the button is there. For the new computer (windows 7) it is not. With old computer I am running version 16.50R and with the new computer I am running 16.52R. With the new computer, I upgraded from 16.50R to 16.52R in hopes to fix the problem, but it did not.
Below is what I see. There is no "Edit" button. The text box looks like it is too wide on the right.
