Posted - Oct 17 2016 : 10:14:09 I'm getting a DB error when sending. Rather than troubleshot it, I've decided to use this oppertunity to be upgrade the computer to something newer and Windows 7.
I use MLK in RAC mode and have joining and leaving messages.
I'm wondering what the easiest way to move all the config files and MLKDBs from old computer to new computer would be?
By the way the error message I'm getting is "Unexpected Error: The selected task doesn't have a recipient list table.
But if I R click on the message and click Send Now it will send. - Don't get it. I'm assuming the DB is not the problem but something with the program.
Thanks

If you are using v13.01 then email me for a newer v13 version (or upgrade to the latest release). If it happens consistently, i.e. whenever you select/send a new sending task then it sounds like a bug.

I'm running version 13.01.
Do you think this will fix the error message? "Unexpected Error: The selected task doesn't have a recipient list table.
Or could it be in one of the DB or config files?

Posted - Oct 19 2016 : 03:00:27 Hi Doug
Can you confirm what version you are using?
To move your database and settings to a new computer:
1. Run MailList King on the old machine and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will display the two important folders for MailList King (configuration and database).
2. Install MailList King on your new computer, run it and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will show you where MailList King is saving your configuration and database on the new computer
3. Close MailList King
4. Copy your all of the files in your settings folder from Step 1 to the settings folder on the new computer from Step 2
5. Do the same for your database files
