Posted - Feb 26 2016 : 21:04:53 For reasons I can't explain when I start MLK it's running through the install wizard and some of the settings in my config files have been changed or are gone. (RAC has been disabled and RAC settings are gone.)
What's makes this strange is all of the sending setting are all there but my auto-reply to a subscribe settings are gone too.
Questions Are all of these settings in one config file? If so, what's the name? If I upgraded from previous versions of MLK any chance the config file settings are in an "old" folder?
Thanks. |

The other possibility then is something is preventing MLK from writing to the registry, or due to user changes or roaming the registry entries are written to a different place than MLK reads them from.
This would cause MLK to "forget" any custom location for your settings folder and trigger a Start-Up wizard.

Posted - Mar 02 2016 : 02:58:06 There is no reason for anti of the files to be modified or deleted. The computer is in a secure romm with no one having a access. The sending of messages and adding/deleting users is all done with RAC or a script.
I need to look, but I am suspecting the auto reply message files are all there and possibly(?) the part of the configure file was damaged? It's really strange that just a couple of settings have been changed. Other than updates no touches this computer except for me and I don't think I have changed any settings in maybe 3 or 4 years. You software has been working flawlesslt\y. |

Posted - Mar 02 2016 : 02:47:52 Hi Doug
If you select Ctrl+Shift+I in MLK, it will display your settings folder. You will see that various files in the folder are used for your settings.
Can you think of any reason that some of these files may be deleted?
