Is there anyway to get MLK to record the Outlook Notes field? I've got "Notes" set up as a custom field. I don't see what else to do to get MLK to look at the field, outside of converting the Outlook file to a CSV file and importing it (which I tried, and it didn't work). I was hoping there was a way to have MLK pick up the Notes field on sync. (I have MLK15 and Outlook2007)

Hi Boyd

This format of CSV is not supported. It should work if you resave it from Excel as an XLX or XLSX file.

Hi Boyd

Can you email me a small test file that contains contacts and notes. Also, let me know your settings when importing.

Well, that's what got me going on this. The "notes" field in Outlook doesn't end up in the notes field of MLK when I do a CSV import--everything else updates, but no notes field. I actually don't know where it goes, but it's not going into the Notes field. I thought maybe it was a matter of setting up a custom field, but that's more for incoming forms, and it didn't work anyway.

Hi Boyd

You should be able to export the data from Outlook. If you then import it into MLK (e.g. as a CSV with two columns Email and Notes) you could assign it to the Notes field.

That'd be great. Then I could move all the archived notes (purchases and conversations) from Outlook to the MLK "notes" field, which would eliminate the need to run two db's side by side. I COULD manually transfer all the Outlook notes data to MLK, but with 5000 records, that's not feasible.

Hi

We'll see what we can do for a later update.

Hi Boyd

I'm afraid that at this time MLK does not process the "Notes" field.
