Nigel,

After upgrading to current version I am getting the following.

Processed remote admin command: "SendToGroup Test1"
ERROR: Access violation at address 004033FB in module 'MLKing.exe'. Read of address 03EE51C0

Memeber can be be added using RAC comands.
Can't send anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug

You can also try using the DB utility to repair it:

1. Close MailList King
2. Download the Database Utility from http://www.xequte.com/download/dbsys426.exe
3. Install and Run it.
4. Select Utilities > Repair
5. Click Select and browse to your database folder (search your hard disk for the file mlk_main.dat to locate your database folder)
6. Your database files will be displayed in the box below. Hold down the Ctrl key and select each file in turn (but NOT any file named mlk_send_task...)
7. Click Open to repair all of your files

I'll also email you some debug logging info.

It appears the fix did some good. (I can now send to one of the lists.) But still getting this....

Processed remote admin command: "SendToGroup Test1"

ERROR: Access violation at address 004033FB in module 'MLKing.exe'. Read of address 03EE51C0

Similar message when I issue
ExportMailingList <List Name>

I should add this only happened after upgrading and the DB was converted to the new format. The computer has two DBs. The first one converted in one pass. The second one (the one I'm having problems with) went through the conversion twice. Some of the lists in that DB are fine, the larger ones are the ones causing the problems.

Any ideas?

More info.

Sent the following RAC command, ExportMailingList ALL pw:pass

Mesaage returned was
Processed remote admin command: "ExportMailingList ALL"

ERROR:

Samething happens if I specify a specific mailing list.

Hi Doug

Try selecting File > Optimize, then check only the Repair item and click OK.

If the problem still occurs let me know and I will send you some debug logging info.
