Posted - Dec 07 2010 : 21:54:07 I have rather lengthy contacts where I want to add "+1" in front of the telephone number for the USA contacts that don't already have it. Is there a way of editing the phone numbers so that symbol goes in front of the telephone number.

In v10.11 or newer you can specify %CURRENT% with the Update Field function to be replaced with the current value of that field:
1. Select the members you want to update (e.g. Search for American contacts then click Ctrl+A) 2. Select Edit > Update Member Field 3. Select the Phone Number Field 4. Specify for the new field value:
+1 %CURRENT%
5. Click OK
