I would like to have a security option for the database, for example when I go on vacation. A person in charge can continue to send emails with MLK but not have direct access to the information on the database.
Some ideas that I hope would not be too complicated to do it may be:
- To have a user and password to access MLK (administrator and regular users) , the database should be encrypted or something like that so that even if the files are copied, the information on them cannot be accessed.

- The "regular user" can send emails with MLK but the menu option like "Export", "Backup", "Copy Addresses" or any other that involves getting the information out of the database can be disabled.

Of course a real hacker could figure a way to get to the information on the database anyway but these options I suggest are for most people enough.

I don't know how many people would be interested in this, but I would buy a new upgrade if this option existed.

Hi

There is no password protection available to lock you out of MailList King itself at this time, but you can allow certain people to (only) send to your mailing list by using Remote Admin Commands.

Please see the relevant section of the Help file for more detail.
