Iam using 7.32 and have been testing the unsubcribe feature with a few senerios and continue to run into problems. Heres what I have.

FIRST PROBLEM
1. I have added a new user to a GROUP A.
2. I then went to view history and used the import into removal feature to manually add the user to the unsubscribed/removals group section.
3. PROBLEM IS the user still exist in GROUP A and continues to get emails. How do I fix this? Does the application not have the ability to pull the user out an exisitng group if the email is entered into the removal section?

SECOND PROBLEM
1. Same User from Group A.....
2. This time tried to use the check for new feature to scan for an this email located in in GROUP A.
3. Mailist king searched the folder but did not detect the unsubscribe subject line.
4. Next I tried to use the Import for removal feature to search the email box and import the email automatically rather then me typing it.
END RESULT WAS THE SAME AS THE FIRST... USER STILL GETS EMAILS.

PLEASE HELP...... No removal if exisiting in a group... and non detection of unsubscribes.

OK, so before you click "Check for New" is the message marked unread? After processing of "Check for New" has the message now been changed to read?

Hi

What "After Processing" option have you specified under View > Options, Email Processing?

Nigel,

Yes that is correct the user is not unsubcribed once MLK processes it. The email is still there..... I have MLK sent NOT to delete the message from outlook. I want to manually delte them myself.

Hi

Problem 1:

Importing an item to the removed list, does not remove them from the mailist list only adds them to the removed list.

Use List > Add/Remove members to import a list of contacts to remove

Problem 2:

So there is an email in your email software from this member with the subject unsubscribe, but when MLK processes the email folder the user is not unsubscribed? Does the email get deleted from the message folder after the processing?
