Dear Xequte!

We would like to upgrade our old software (v6.1 Business) and have a few questions.

1. Currently we can use your website to buy the upgrade for 99$ or it can not be upgraded this way, because it is too old version? Please confirm that we do not need to buy a whole new MLK?

2. How to move all of our data from MLK 6.1 to MLK 9.03? I saw your posts to use CTRL SHIFT I and to copy all of the files from the old version to the new one.(it will be setted up on a new PC)
Will this work without need to recreate all our automatic responses, custom fields, etc.?

Please let us know will this work easily o not?

Thanks,
Laszlo

Thanks, for your anwere!

I asked for the old version installation allready and get it today morning.

We really have to test a lot, to be sure, thats why we have to move to another PC first and migrate the data as well.

I believe it would work with a simple update as well, but...

Thanks again,
Laszlo

Hi Laszlo

1. That is fine.

2. I don't see any good reason to install the old version first. Just install the new version and let it update your database.

If you are not ready to upgrade, then of course we can give you the old version.

Either way just email us your details.

Hi, Nigel!

1. We have an old version 6.1 I think, running on a PC1.
We would like to install the new version to another PC2, not to the PC1 where version 6.1 resides. We really want to test it before start using it in produciton environment. We want to move the older version to the 2nd PC, like I said.

2. We have lost the exact installation version what we purchased a few years ago from you, are you able to send us the old version setup file, so we could install it first on the new PC and then migrate the data from the old one in first step. And then we would update it to the last version.

So its a little complicated because we lost the old installation file.

could you send us the old installation file as well if we send you via mail our registration/serial data?

Thanks,
Laszlo

Hi Laszlo

1. You do not need to have an old version (or even your registration details) to upgrade because we will look up your original purchase on our system and send you a full installation.

If you are not sure what version you had or which you should upgrade to then send us an email at sales@xequte.com

2. MLK will automatically update your v6 data for use in v9 without your needing to do anything. Of course you should back up your data and settings first to be safe:
