I'm using V8.62. I have a number of existing groups. I wanted to create a quick-and-dirty group for multiple mailings. I thought there I would be able to select specific names from the full list, then right-mouse-click and create a group from the selected names. But this doesn't seem to be an option. I thought I had seen the option somewhere - am I overlooking it? Thanks.

Yes, that is a good idea. We've added it to v9.03.

I have yet another suggestion for a new feature, also related to GROUPS. I have many members who belong to multiple groups. It would be very convenient if, when I hover the mouse over the line record (e.g. a display of members belong to a certain group), that the pop-up box would show the exact groups to which someone belongs. That way, there would be no need to click up the record to view other groups' membership.
Thanks again! |

We've added a new FAQ for it:

Posted - Nov 12 2009 : 11:35:41 I have a question regarding groups too, Nigel.
In the latest version, one of the new features is: "1. Organize your groups by nesting them within other groups".
I think I can really use this feature to organize my many different groups that are getting unwieldy. But I can't seem to see in HELP or in the EDIT GROUP option in knowing how to do so.
Thanks for answering!

Yes, Ctrl+ or Shift+ click your selection, then select Edit > Group Membership. Click "New Group" to create a group, check it and click OK.
