Posted - Feb 01 2009 : 14:12:33 I have installed outlook and mlk on a Vista machine at home and everything worked perfectly. Clearly the problem is with the xp machine I want to run. Its the only one on 24/7 . I will try reinstalling outlook and then mlk. Its a pity the windows error code is a bit obscure. regards

Your registration email address will not affect your sending. Have you tried sending directly using SMTP?

Posted - Jan 31 2009 : 03:23:05 This is already set tried sending via outlook express. same problem. I registered mlk using my private email address and am sending via a more public email address. ie this computer does not have access to my private address for send / receive. we use oulook express for all normal traffic . I want to use outlook for the one address. that is info@pwgsigns.com maybe this is the problem ? regards |

Try going into the settings of your email account in Outlook (Tools > Email Accounts, "View or Change", select the account and click "Change"). Click more settings, Outgoing Server, what are your settings there?
Try "Use same settings as my incoming mail server". Click OK and then "Test account setting"
