I hae no problems using the ODBC connector to read the MLK database - it works fine with Excel and using the Perl/DBI module. Updating the database is more problematic - I assume that the Index fields in each table are autoincremented, but it's not obvious how to obtain the field value of the new records.

Has anyone managed to get the ODBC connector working for database updates?

Have you been able to figure out how to update the MLK DB through ODBC? I'm trying to use Access and can read it fine but I am unable to edit.

Hi Andrew

Yes, all of the Index fields are auto increment fields so you don't need to specify them directly. Just pass null for the field value.
