I have looked and can't find any posts covering this topic.

How does one log mail send and click through rates when sending out mailers?

 Thanks,
 Marc

It is discussed in the topic here:

 http://www.xequte.com/userforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=859

Basically you want your techos to create a web script that emails you everytime someone follows a link (passing the User ID) and then redirects them to their desired page.

Let's say you've created the script and named it "redir.asp"

On your web site you have a page, "http://www.mysite/myproduct.html", and want to know who has clicked through to it from your newsletter.

You would create the link in MLK as follows:

We are hoping to create a server side product to handle this for our customers.

Yes please, we definitely require this sort of reporting for our clients.

Is there any other (easier) way to do it?

 Thanks,
 Marc

At this time we don't have a server side product for handling tracking, but if you have a web server you can do it by creating a redirect script (that redirects are user to their downloaded link, while recording the email address or customer ID of the clicker).

Let me know if you want a more indepth description of the process.
