In versions prior to v7.20 to force acknowledgement sending with RAC commands you need to disable the option under View>Options, Acknowledge, "Don't send acknowledgements for manually processed addresses"
The multiple line issue is addressed in v7.20 too.

Posted - Jul 17 2009 : 07:38:47 I need to play with this a bit; it's not working for me.
When addresses are added/removed via RAC Acknowledgement or Welcome messages sent with RAC commands. (Silent is not on the not on the subject line.)
Is there a don’t ever send Ack or Welcome messages button I may have selected?
Side note or adding email via RAC. I’ve been using yoru trick of a blank line when adding one user. But I’ve found this doesn’t always work. (It looks like it is dependenet on the email client – doesn’t seem to mater if it’s plain text or not.)
My fix is to add a second email address in the body of the RAC subscribe message of somone who is already on the list. Seems to work.

Posted - Jul 17 2009 : 03:46:01 Sorry Douggg,
Somehow i misinterpreted the word "when"
- When importing/manually adding addresses: there is an option about whether they are sent (Note: option for importing is in v7.20 available on Monday). - When adding via a web form: they are sent - When adding via a Subcribe command: They are sent unless you use "SILENT" command - When adding via a Remote Admin Command: They are sent unless you use "SILENT" command

Posted - Jul 15 2009 : 21:40:55 Hi
They are sent immediately after performing a "Check for New" (either automated or by clicking said button).
This assumes of course that you have not enabled "ISP Sending Limits" and used up your allotted deliveries.
Free Power Tip: If you hover the mouse over the Outbox label (count) on the status/graph page of the main window you will get a full rundown of any reasons for message delays.
