Gmail will always use the Reply address for the account. It ignores the SMTP address you specify, e.g. if you send via your gmail account, mydomain@gmail.com, then that will be the reply address for your email, even if you try to specify it as newsletter@mydomain.it in MLK.
You may be able to get around this by signing up for the Google Apps service ($50 per year).
