Posted - Apr 25 2009 : 20:40:24 Hi,
I recently upgraded to V7 (now running V7.11r) and since then have a problem sending with large lists. Could be coincidence - maybe my ISP has changed something, but nothing has been reported by them.
I have MLK setup to send 500 at a time. Since upgrading, it will send a few (sometimes only one, sometimes many) then flush out with 5.7.1 errors even though mail is being picked up (our server is popping every 10 minutes, this setting is unchanged from when I was using V6). It's no longer hands off sending as I must keep restarting the sending process. I've also tried stopping our server from popping and configuring Outlook to do it every 5 minutes but the problem persists.
Is MLK V7 doing something different? Any thoughts on this?
I also miss something from V6 - I used to be able to get the mouse to hover over the MLK entry in the taskbar and see the % of sending, building recipient list, etc. This isn't visible with V7. Gone for good? Or is there an option somewhere where I can get this back?
Thanks,
Yvonne

On the Info tab, hover over the sending status text to see more detail.
Regarding the sending issue, there should be no changes in MLK in that respect. You are getting an "Unable to Relay" error, which - given that you are able to send initially - leads me to believe your ISP is disconnecting you for exceeding their sending limit.
Firstly, ask your ISP why they would return a 5.7.1 error.
