Posted - Feb 28 2009 : 00:36:46 i have recently moved to sky isp and when i try to send mail i get socket error 11004
an error was encountered connecting to your smtp just changed isp and keep getting this
also how can i send mail from the mail king server as well because i am having problems with my isp sending out mail when i could send it
i have tried to sort out connecting to send mail through gmail but that just does nothing at all help |

Generally this error means that you have not specified the correct address for your SMTP server. Go into View>Options, Sending, Settings and check that you have the correct SMTP address (as supplied by your ISP when you signed up).
If you still have problems, and for your other sending issues, please email me the log file for this sending task:
Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I. Choose the option to display your database folder and then browse to the folder "SendLogs"
In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me.
