We have two different people in our organization (at different physical locations), who both need access to our mailing lists. Currently, one of those people has MLK installed and uses it to handle all the subscribes, unsubscribes, etc. Obviously, sending out emails to our list is not a problem for that person. But when the other person needs an "updated" copy of our mailing list, person 1 has to export the list and send it to person 2, who then imports it into Outlook and sends emails from there.

If we purchased a second copy of MLK and installed it on the other person's PC, is there a way for us to keep both PC's in sync as far as the mailing list updates go? I'm sure this is asking for too much, or maybe there's an entirely different way of handling this problem that is far simpler.

This is really creating a lot of extra work for us to try and keep our mailing list in sync on two PC's, so if there's a better way to accomplish this, please let me know.

Thanks!
Phil

Hi Phil

At present MLK can only share databases over a LAN (not the Internet, unless you have a VPN, but that would be slow).

So at present your options are to have one database and have the second person interact with it via Remote Admin Commands (see the help for detail) or to have two databases and use Remote Admin commands to retrieve the database when required.

Full remote synchronization is planned for a later release.
