Posted - Jun 28 2009 : 06:29:55 We have an instance of MailList King running a particular machine. The database is configured properly, and all buttons display in Outlook. When the MailList King 'Process' button is clicked in Outlook, all messages in the MailList King incoming folder are read - but nothing is moved to the 'Processed Mail' folder.
Can anyone provide insight into this issue? |

Posted - Jul 09 2009 : 01:27:25 Under View>Options, Web Forms, what subjects do you have specified for processing?
I assume they include: - TRWD Newsletter Subscription - TRV Newletter Subscription
Is the "Include partial matches" option set?
I'll email you some debug logging info.

Nigel, the same type problem just happened to me. An Outlook 2000 Incoming email was marked read but not processed. The error msg in View History, History indicated "Error processing form message: Web Submission Message contains no body"
I looked at the email and the previous one that had processed a week earlier and they were identical in format.
I restarted MLK, nothing changed. I reestablished the Incoming and Processed folders, no change.
The last Service Patches were installed 4/11/2007 so there were no issues here.
This particular machine is either on all the time or in Suspend mode, rarely gets shutdown or rebooted. So, I rebooted the machine and then MLK processed the email correctly.
Strange,

Posted - Jun 29 2009 : 01:21:00 So are these web form messages (from a web form on your site) or standard subscriptions (where the reply address of the message should be subscribed)?

Posted - Jun 28 2009 : 14:35:38 Good afternoon, Nigel. The folder contains either of two subject headers: * TRWD Newsletter Subscription or * TRV Newletter Subscription.
This was satisfactory prior to March (before I was here). However, now the app seems to process all items - but moves none. There are no subjects called 'SUBSCRIBE' or 'REMOVE' to my knowledge. I appreciate your response and hope I've answered your question

Posted - Jun 28 2009 : 14:30:06 Hi
This would occur if MLK is not finding any messages in your Incoming folder (specified under View>Options, Incoming) that match its processing rules.
Does that folder contain mailing list messages, e.g. ones with the subject SUBSCRIBE or REMOVE me@myaddress.com?

Posted - Jun 28 2009 : 06:55:07 I've had this happen a couple of times, but only when MLK has been running for an extended period of time. Try exiting MLK from the file drop-down menu and restarting the program.
