Posted - Jun 19 2009 : 12:12:45 Your IP is out of India. There is a good chance that your IP is being filtered by the other servers. Many American servers filter all transactions from certain countries.
If I am not mistaken this is a typical error when MLK's server is blocked from accessing the Internet. If you are using a software firewall like Norton or something like that, make sure it's not blocking your access to the internet. You can also check to see if a anti-virus software's script stopper is not intercepting the SMTP sending.

Posted - Jun 18 2009 : 12:20:22 Actually the address does not exist. If you can send to it, then are probably a 'local domain' and either your or the other account is set to 'user can send mail only to local domain'. If you are sending out of google then it is coming from an external domain and thus not allowed.
Getting MX record for domain.edu.in (from local DNS server, may be cached)... Received an NXDOMAIN response.
This means that the domain.edu.in domain does not exist! No mail can be sent to it.

Posted - Jun 18 2009 : 03:02:31 Hi Srinivas
Although the error message wouldn't seem to indicate it, perhaps the destination server is rejecting your connection as it recognizes it as originating from a local SMTP server.

Posted - Jun 18 2009 : 02:17:43 When i use the other server types I can send mails to this id, I'm testing this option with this account as I have created these with google apps. Google apps doesnt allow me to send more than 500 mails from 1 id each day. I tried sending from a different office and it is sending the mails. The earlier place i had dynamic ip, with all ports open in the router. I dont know why it is working in this place.

Posted - Jun 18 2009 : 01:04:34 Hi
It's hard to diagnose the problem when there is only one recipient. You should test sending to at least ten recipients and send the log.
Regarding this error, it sounds like a failure due to a bad username or disabled account. Are you able to send to sender@domain.edu.in via normal SMTP?
