Posted - May 18 2009 : 10:43:40 We're looking for a solution to the Distribution List limit in Outlook / Exchange. What is (or is there?) a limit to the number of members that can be in each group in MLK? |

Posted - Jun 13 2009 : 16:51:53 Sorry it took me a while to reply, I guess I missed the post somehow.
My setup is as follows:
Machine that MLK is on: Win XP sp2 Athalon 64x2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.21GHz 1gig ram 2 hard drives: WD 7200 rpm 8mb Cache SATA - OS WD 10,000 rpm 16mb Cache sata150 - MLK DB’s
I now have this machine at a data center and can burst up to 100mbs, but the router it's on can only go to ~58mbs.
I have found that optimizing the DB every weekend helps the speed a lot. Also, the largest limiting factor is the sending of the mail to the mail server. If the mail server is on the same machine, that makes it much faster, but your machine will need to handle it. This ones handles MLK and Merak mail server just fine.

So when you say "decent PC", what do you currently run it on? |

Posted - May 18 2009 : 14:48:07 There is no limit pending that your PC can handle the DB. MLK has tested with over a million addresses and it works fine. We push almost a million regularly on a decent PC and it works great. They could all be in the same group. As far as I know, it wouldn't ever be an issue.
