Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 I am about to install the RTM of Office 2007. Will Outlook 2007 work with MailList King? I could only find a reference from someone on the beta. |

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 I am installing v6.20 on Vista x64 RTM with Outlook 2007. I receive an error, "Server execution failed, ProgID: "Outlook.Application" when I clicked on the Browse button to select the Outlook folder that MLK should check for new mail list messages. If I bypass this and let the application default to Inbox it seems everything else works fine so far.

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 I should add that I have now installed Outlook 2007 and it works fine for me with MailList King.
Thanks David. |

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 02:55:31 Hi
I've heard from a number of users who are running MLK with beta versions of Office 2007. Thus far the only error report i have heard was related to sending via Outlook and that sounded more like a technical issue rather than a compatibility one (alas the customer just changed sending methods rather than investigate it further).
We will be doing full compatibility testing with Office 2007 before too long.

Posted - Jan 10 2009 : 12:11:59 Hi
This will occur if you install MLK and then use the option on the last step of the installation to automatically run MLK. This means that MLK is being run at an Admin level (instead of the standard UAC level) which causes problems for Outlook (which is running at the standard level).
The resolution is simply to restart MailList King after installing it. |
