5 years ago I created a slide show and recorded them on DVD's. Since that my computer had to be replaced, I like to add more pictures or make changes. Since I don't have the slide show on my computer, can I download it from the Disk to my computer to add and make changes?
What files/folders are on the slideshow disk? If you burnt our slideshow in PC or DVD + PC format then you can retrieve your images. If you only used DVD format then there is no practical way to retrieve them. You can confirm this by looking at the disk with Windows Explorer. If it contains a "Pxp_Files" folder then you are in luck.

I burned it in DVD + PC format. How do I retrieve the project
The process should be as follows: 1. Copy the folder PXP_FILES from the disk to the "DVD PixPlay Projects" folder in your "Documents" folder. 2. Rename the folder 3. Right-click the folder and choose Properties 4. Clear the "Read-Only" box and click OK 5. Confirm the changes should apply to sub-folders too 6. Run DVD PixPlay and open the project in that folder
