Posted - Aug 14 2013 : 12:07:00 I'm very happy with DVDPixPlay and have lots of movie-style slide shows. However, this time I want to do something different. I want to create a dvd show where each jpeg picture will remain on the screen until I press a forward button. I can do something like this now by pressing pause then play, but still some pix stay on too long, and it's kind of awkward.
If this can't be done with PixPlay does anyone know another program where this is possible. |

Posted - Aug 16 2013 : 11:58:08 I've tried it and it works. One problem I had to solve was that each change of frame (by pressing the "skip" key on the DVD player) displayed the title and chapter--annoying and distracting. I checked the Toshiba DVD manual and saw how to turn off on-screen displays and that problem was solved.
Thanks again.

Posted - Aug 15 2013 : 13:04:05 Thanks, Nigel, I'll try that. The slideshows I'm currently working on are about 12 min long, and consist of less than 100 carefully selected pix. I wanted to add a number of additional pictures that I would shoot through. Changing the timing on each picture (there might be 200-300) is just too tedious a job, but I'll see how it goes with a longer display time for all shots.

Posted - Aug 14 2013 : 22:13:22 Hi
It is not possible with DVD movie format slideshows, but what a number of users do is apply a long slideshow delay to each of their images and then use the >| button on their remote to advanced to the next image (this assumes that your slideshow is not so long that you don't have enough space).
