Posted - Oct 25 2012 : 07:04:56 Program recommended by a friend. Read program description and wondered about the regular versus professional versions. Have an older computer running VISTA. When previous computer operating system was no longer supported had trouble and had to upgrade. Knowing that Windows 8 is soon to be released wonder how long Vista will be supported. From description of various versions of Pix Play it would seem that the professional version comes with free upgrades unlike the standard version. Will a future version of Pix Play which works with Windows 8 be supplied free to users of the Professional version and not available free to users of the standard version?

Both editions have the same policy regarding new releases. All updates are free (e.g. v7.04 to v7.05) but upgrades (v7.04 to v8.0) are chargeable six months after purchasing/upgrading.
