A message involving this file sometimes appears when previewing a slideshow. Purpose?

OK, then test removing your backgound music and see if that is the cause.

I had not used dvd pixplay for some time it appeared initially when a project was started or recalled - no video involved.

Hi

DVD PixPlay uses your system drivers for playback of video and some audio formats when previewing. Does this occur before/during playback of a video file?
