Posted - Aug 29 2011 : 22:20:48 Hi
If you have any steps so that we can reproduce the failure on our test systems please let me know.
With regard to "My Pictures", Microsoft's policy is that the folder should only be used for photos and their associated data. This is not the case with DVD PixPlay's project files which are documents with associated images.

Posted - Aug 29 2011 : 06:31:35 Hello Nigel I believe that (MY) changing of folders, midway through the projects creation, has resulted in some unexpected results; the cure for which has been to:
1. Add the offending photo again.
2. Re-tytpe any text still required using the tools your program provides.
Whilst on the subject of default folders (and yes I know... you just CAN'T please everybody) but I will let you know what I think anyway. Both yourself and others - Sony to name one) seem to think that the 'MY DOCUMENTS" folder is a natural place for Photo related data. Surely "My Pictures" is closer? and in Sony's case, their video data as been mis-chosen by not defaulting to My Video's".
OK its a small niggle and does not seriously spoil a very useful photo program. |

Posted - Aug 28 2011 : 19:13:17 Hi Colin
Please look under Help > About and advise what version you are using.
Also what method in PixPlay did you use to add the text overlay?
Finally when you selected File > Burn Slideshow, what format slideshow did you choose?
