Hi Karen

Thanks for your post. That is a good method to split a project into two.

I should add that in v7 there is a project cloning function, so now for step 2 you should select File > Save As and save it to a new name such as "Kids Edit"

Oh.. I forgot to add that I am using version 5.25. So maybe the later versions have a better work around. Karen

Hi,

I had a video that I thought was too long. This is how I did an edit:

1. I had a movie called 'kids' and I wanted to split it into two differnt dvd burns.

2. I copied 'Kids' to a new project and called it 'kids edit'. So now I had two slide shows that were the same except for the names.

3. I took kids edit and deleted the last half of my movie. I saved this with a new name called 'kids one'

4. I then went back to my orginal 'kids' and removed everthing I saved in 'Kids two'. So now this video only had the first half.

5. so now I had 2 slide shows that could be burned to dvds and they were's so long. MY kids love looking at themselves but even they get tired after two hours of watching one dvd.

I hpoe this helps. Karen

LYLESNAY

Dvd Pixplay does not offer any video editing functions.

Hi

DVD PixPlay cannot edit videos, but you can do this with Windows Movie Maker and then add the edited video to your PixPlay project.
