Posted - Dec 04 2010 : 11:32:34 I want to add different music to different parts of my show. When I add, it goes immediately to the beginning instead of the frame I have highlighted. Also, how do I remove the music when it is in the wrong place. If I uncheck the loop, will it just play the song I want and then stop?
Also how can I preview at a certain frame instead of going to the beginning each time. |

Posted - Dec 07 2010 : 10:42:47 Hilda, you can't delete music when it's "in the wrong frame." You must adjust the timing of your frames so that they match the music you want. The songs play consecutively unless you strategically place periods of silence ("silence.mp3") between them. Accordingly, you might find that one song requires a 5 second display time, the next requires a 10 second display time, etc. Alternatively, you can add or subtract to the number of pictures to facilitate matching the display timing to the length of the music.

Posted - Dec 06 2010 : 11:36:36 When the segment is long I may want to play more than one song. But want to add them individually. Then another later segment I may want to play a different song. I want to be able to click on each song separately in the music list. Also, how do I delete the song when it is in the wrong frame?
I have added music beforen earlier editions and didn't seem to have this problem. I am sorry to be so dense, but at 90 years old, my mind doesn't grasp this new techonology quickly. Hilda |

Posted - Dec 05 2010 : 20:57:59 Hi
Do you mean you want it silent, except for the times when music is specified?
If you turn off looping each of your songs will be played once in turn and then there will be silence.

I checked the FAQs and did not find an answer. I have music listed and I just want to use one at a time in different parts of the show. If it is not long enough I may want to add another. But just one at a time. Also if it is put in the wrong frame, how do I delete the music. If the loop is unchecked, what does that mean? Can I click on the frame to begin the music and click on the frame for it to end? Hilda |

Posted - Dec 05 2010 : 02:31:19 Hi
1. We have a special function to allow you to time your music to frames.
Please see the explanation on our FAQ at:
http://www.xequte.com/support/pixplayfaq.html#stretching_frames_to_music
2. If you turn off the loop option it will play all songs once, then give you silence
3. Under View > Options, you will find an option to preview the slideshow from the current (selected) frame
