Other CD & DVD burning software that I have used display the start time and end time for the decoding and burning processes. I have found this helpful in planning my various tasks. For example, when burning a second and third copy of the slideshow, it's nice to know how long to expect it to take so that other things can be done while waiting. It's not always easy to predict by the text that is displayed on the screen, or even the percentage of burning completion that is displayed. Occasionally I have gone away from the computer to do something else while burning a slideshow. When I returned, perhaps an hour later, it would have been very informative to me to be able to tell just exactly how long it took to execute that procedure while I was gone.

I would suggest adding the start time and the end time when you work on your next update.

Hi Murray

Yes, it would be a nice addition to have an overall time remaining display. There are some technical impediments that would need to be addressed to make it accurate enough to be usual. We'll investigate...

Note that you can display a time remaining for the conversion part by selecting the relevant option using the button at the bottom left of that window.
