I can open Dvd Pixplay and when I get to select files, I get the message - DVD Pixplay, Dvd Slideshow Creation Software has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. Send error report. This happened on version 5 so I downloaded version 6 and the same thing happens.

Hi

It is more likely to be a problem with your Windows drivers that are used for your video files. DVD PixPlay is crashing while trying to access them to get information on your videos.

Why type of videos files are they? AVI?

I am using Windows XP and when I open I get the welcome screen. It is when I try to add videos that it locks up. I will try the deleting files idea tonight. Thank you

Hi

What version of Windows are you using?

When PixPlay starts does it display the welcome screen or go straight to the project frames? Are there any videos in your project?

Also, I would try deleting all files under:

C:\Program Files\DVD PixPlay\

And then reinstall the software and restart Windows.
