I am using DCD PixPlay 5.04 Prof, running on WIN XP

I am trying to make a Photo slideshow to run on a 42" LCD TV. The camera images are 1200 x 1800 Pixels. I am burning as PAL. I have tried both DVD and DVD/PC modes. Also VCD - see comment below. The TV is set to PAL at 16:9 apect.

The viewed DVD on the TV shows a 2" wide black border top and bottom of the screen. My real concerm is item 3 below.

1. The TITLE screen uses the full width, but loses 2 inches at top and bittom.
2. LANDSCAPE photos lose the 2 inched at either side.

3. PORTRAIT photos are distorted. They show as SQUARE, measuring 16" by 16", while their correct aspect should be 12"(W)by16"(H.)

OK, I can accept the 2" cut-off round the edges (If essential, or due to the 1200x1600 image size), but not the distortion which makes everybody look fat.

When I burn as VCD, the image files the TV Screen to the top, but portraits are still distorted.

Hi

1/2. Did you use the Widescreen or 4:3 output ratio when burning in PixPlay?

3. Under View > Options, Other, Advanced, does the "Improve Aspect Ratio" resolve it?
