I have decided that DVD PixPlay suits my purposes even though it does not give an HTML file. I would like to use the video on my digital photo frame and it needs to be saved in either Mjpeg or motion jpeg 3.2.4. Is that possible with your software? Or is there some other program that will accomplish that for me?

Thanks again for your help!

Ben

BEN

You can buy it from one of the companies that sell them.

MainConcept
Morgan Multimedia
Pegasus Imaging
LEAD Multimedia

Prices range from $10 to $30 dollars and most have free trial periods.

Also here is a link that shows you step by step how to convert a MPEG to MJPEG. (It is only a trial version)

Hi Ben

Yes, "MJPEG" is the same as "Motion JPEG". It is a proprietary AVI format.

You may be able to convert the MPEG you created with PixPlay to Motion JPEG using one of the various free converters available such as:

http://media-convert.com/ (50MB Limit)
http://www.zamzar.com/ (100MB Limit)

(Though i'm not specifically aware of ones that support MJPEG as an output format)

I talked to technical support on the phone and they said it took only motion jpeg 3.2.4. I think that is the same as mjpeg. I have tried several avi files with different codecs and they were all rejected!

BEN

According to the User Guide for this model it uses the following:

Supported Media
Media card formats SD, MS, MS Pro, MMC, XD, Micro Drive, USB Drive Memory Card Reader 5-in-1
Image formats JPEG Video formats AVI
Audio formats MP3

So you should choose in STEP 2 OF 3 OF THE BURNING PROCESS--under VIDEO TYPE one of the AVI FORMATS. I would recommend the first one AVI (Div X)

Hope that works for you. Good Luck ! ! !

BEN

Please tell me the name and model number of your digital frame.

Most frames will play MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 or AVI.

The digital photo frame only supports Mjpeg and motion jpeg 3.2.4!

Hi Ben

Motion JPEG is not one of the output formats supported by DVD PixPlay, so please check what other video formats the frame supports, ideally MPEG.

Yes. The best way is to output your slideshow as a video file directly to the SD card.

1. Find out what video formats it supports, ideally it would be MPEG
2. Select File > Burn Slideshow
3. Choose the Video File option and click Next
4. Select a supported video format, and choose the resolution of your picture frame (or one of the standard format resolutions, if you are unsure). Click Next
5. Choose the option to save to your hard disk
6. Click Browse and specify a filename on your SD card
7. Click Finish
