Posted - Jun 18 2009 : 17:16:08 My DVD shows have very poor quality to them since I upgraded my TV to a widescreen. The edges are rough and the pixels are very noticeable.

Are you burning DVD format slideshows? How do the disks look when played on your computer?
Have you clicked the TV button (File > Burn Slideshow, Next) and chosen the widescreen option?
Have you tried specifying the highest quality encoding option (using the Alternate encoder) on Step 3 of the "Burn Disk" wizard?
Also, try going into View>Options, Advanced and changing the DVD MPEG Audio Setting as that can affect playback on some players.
